October 2013 in Pictures.

October was full of Birthday Parties and special days for us.

We have been to so many great places last month:

1. Fall Fair at Sophia’s Preschool where we had a picnic and had a chance to buy interesting kids books ( about ballet of course)

Last month left tons of the sweetest memories for a long long time.

Halloween 2013.

We already started celebrating Halloween in our house. Our playgroup has a tradition to get the kids together for every holiday and celebrate them.

Halloween is next week, but because of everybody’s busy schedule we planned our Halloween Party this week.

I like to be creative, that’s why I am not a big fan of store bought costumes. My daughter wanted to be Cinderella ( her favorite princess so far), so I had a task to make Cinderella costume for her.

For her costume I used the same method, as I mentioned before when I made her tutu skirt. This time I just needed to make a dress, so I got Crochet Headband 8″ on Ebay, and used it as a top and blue tulle for the bottom. It took me one hour to make this dress.

We also head a blue headband which worked great instead of a crown. I got her high-heels Cinderella shoes at Target too.

It’s so easy to go with any princess costume, because you also can add some accessories, like necklaces, bracelets, and you princess will be the pretties one.

To keep kids busy I got some art supplies for them at Michael’s and they enjoyed painting their Halloween masks:

For the healthy treats I found great ideas on Pinterest and made healthy snack for our little ones:

I used clementines for little pumpkins and bananas and raisins for the little ghosts. It was a cute healthy party treat.

I also got Annie’s Halloween Bunny Grahams, which are organic and I will definitely use them for Trick or Treat.

For decorations we also picked a little pumpkin house at Michael’s. My daughter keeps it in her room now:

I guess we made a great party for our kids because they really had fun, played nicely and let us (moms) relax for a little bit.

September 2013.

A lot of things happened during the last month. I love the beginning of fall, and this fall is warm and beautiful.  You enjoy the warm sunny days with pretty red, yellow, orange leaves on the trees. We still spend a lot of time outside and try to catch as much sunshine as we can.

Our September is pictures:

First Sophia’s haircut:

It went smooth and she really liked it.

Sophia started preschool:

So far she loves it, and asks to go there every day. If she is happy, I am happy too:)

Trip to the local zoo:

I can’t say she is a big fan of zoo ( me neither), but we really had a great time and I saw foxes and wolves in real for the first time in my life.

Beach Days:

We didn’t really spend a lot of time at the beach this summer, so we are trying to do it now, before the real cold comes.

Local Green Exhibition.

It was a fun day for the family. My hubby had a chance to have a test-drive of electric cars, we found new interesting healthy products, saw some farmer’s animals and enjoyed healthy lunch.

Open House Party.

One of our friends recently finished one of her projects. She renovated a very unique house and invited us for a little party. She did a great job and we really had fun that day.

Also we tried a lot of new healthy foods ( most of them homemade), spend a lot of family time together, watched nice movies, meet with our friends and just enjoyed the first month of the fall.
